  • How much should I give and for how long?

    Our charities are grateful for any and all contributions. There is no commitment and you are free to cancel at any time for any reason.

  • Do I have to use PayPal?

    Yes, it is the most cost effective way to help your child. We encourage you to set up monthly payments which can be turned off with a single mouse click.  We find that monthly giving helps you stay better connected with your child and helps the charity with their monthly budget.

  • How do I communicate with my support child?

    You communicate with your child through their caregiver on Facebook. To your child you are a pen pal.  Your child does not have access to their Facebook account.

  • How do I get involved with edopt?

    Contact us by either phone or email. We are always looking for reputable organizations to work with. 

  • What does it cost to be part of edopt?

    There are no charges at all.  We are a self-funded 501.c.3 charitable organization.  Our sole mission is to connect sponsors with quality organizations that are caring for children.

  • How do I protect my children's identities?

    You control what information is provided about your organization and your children. In restricted countries it is appropriate to provide general, regional information and to use an alias for your children. Safety is our biggest concern and all communication is strictly controlled by you.
